As we had no rooms to clean up today I had a time to go to the beach to take photos.
It was sunny and very hot here in Shirahama today.
I was not able to stay on the beach to take photos for a long time because of the summer heat.
They came from Holland to Japan for the 1st time and are traveling for 3 weeks.
Before they came to Shimoda the typhoon passed near Izu peninsula, so we had been worrying about them. But they came to Shimoda safety.
During their stay they went to the beach, but there were a lot of driftwood and seaweeds on the beach and the water was cloudy.
We are very sorry, but we wanted show them the clear and blue sea.
They went to Fuji lakes, Nara, Kyoto and Hiroshima after Shimoda.

I had to clean up the pension building and the field around all day long yesterday because of typhoon.
And I was able to go to the beach for the 1st time this afternoon after the typhoon passed.
The typhoon #12 left huge amount of trash, driftwood and seaweeds with the beach.
I went to the beach to take photos at around 13:00.
As the typhoon is approaching to Japan this weekend the rope and the buoys were pull up from the sea.
And the waves are getting bigger little by little.
As we didn’t have many rooms that we had to clean I was able to go to the beach to take photos.
It’s still very hot here in Shirahama today.
But as we had north wind it was a little cooler than yesterday.
This is the video which I took on July 21st Saturday. It was sunny and very hot today, but the clouds came from the west sky. So the water was not real blue. In addition, the sound of a helicopter was too noisy.
The fireworks display took place on July 21st Saturday.
It was really beautiful!
It was the first time to take photos of firework from this place.
It was not bad, but I should have taken it just in front of the fireworks as usual.
I went to the nearest beach to take photos in the afternoon after I finished cleaning guest rooms.
It was sunny and we had very clear sky this early morning, but a lot of clouds came from the west sky this afternoon.
Everyday it’s very hot here in Shirahama.
Today, as I had enough time I went to the beach to take photos this afternoon after 5 days.
There were not so many people today because of weekday after 3 busy holidays last weekend.
These are boat-wrap Sashimi (Funamori in Japanese) which we served last weekend.
