  December 10th 2011 They came from Thailand and stayed at Sakuraya. They come to Japan at least twice a year, but it was a first time to visit Shimoda. They stayed at Sakuraya for only 1 night, but we could have good time with them. Thank you for staying with us. |
 December 2nd 2011They came from Malibu in the United Sates and stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights. During their stay they went to Shimoda downtown by walking and run around Shirahama beach though we had cold rain. They are running a cottage which has a great view of the ocean in Malibu city, California, and sometimes have wedding ceremony. Click here to check their website! Thank you for staying with us. |
 November 18th 2011She came from Singapore and stayed at Sakuraya for 3 nights. During her stay she went to Irozaki cape, Dogashima, Matsuzaki and many places around Shimoda. After her stay the weather was changed to heavy rain. Yes, she was lucky!! Thank you for staying with us. |
 November 13th 2011They came from Yokosuka and stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights. On the 1st day we had a heavy rain, but it became sunny after that. They took "One day cruizing to Izu seven islands" on the 2nd day, and spent very good time on it. On the 3rd day it was a most beautiful day in this month, I think they could have a good driving on the west coast of Izu peninsula. Thank you very much for staying with us. |
 September 29th 2011We got an e-mail with photo from our customers in Tokyo. They stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights from August 19th. It was a second time for one of them this summer, but I think they could have a good time here in Shimoda this year again. We are looking forward to meeting you again next year.  September 25th 2011They are from India and have been in Tokyo since several years ago. This time they stayed for 2 nights at Sakuraya for the 1st time. During their stay they went to the beach, Dogashima and so on, and had a party at the terrace in the nights. We are looking forward to meeting again in winter. Thank you for staying. |

  September 9th 2011 They came from Australia to Japan for the 1st time and stayed with us for 5 nights. On 1st and 2nd day it was rainy here in Shimoda, but it had been sunny after that. And they could have good time on the white sandy beach. We also had good time with good couple and cute boys. Thank you for staying at Sakuraya. P.S They geve us some beautiful post cards of Melbourne with message.   |
  August 24th 2011 They came from France and stayed with us for 6 nights. They had traveled for 2 weeks in Japan, and after that they came to Shimoda as a last point to stay. During their stay the weather was changed, cloudy, rainy, windy and sunny everyday, but they said that they could have a good time here in Shimoda. If you come to Japan next time please come and stay in Shimoda again. We are really looking forward to meeting you again. Thank you very much for staying with us. |
 August 21st 2011They came from Kanagawa Pref. and stayed with us for the first time. One of them is my friend of university, and we met each other after 26 years, since we graduated university. During their stay it had been almost cloudy and windy here in Shirahama. See you with sunshine and new baby next time. Thank you very much everybody. |

 July 12th 2011They came from Seattle and stayed with us for 3 nights. During their stay it had been sunny and very hot, so they could have good days here in Shimoda. On 3rd day they rented a car and drove on Izu peninsula. How did you like it? After Shimoda they were going to Takayama and Kyoto. Thank you for staying at Pension Sakuraya. |

 May 1st 2011As their daughter lives in Japan to teach English at the school they came from the United Kingdom to see her and stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights. On the 1st day they went to the Japanese style bar restaurant "Izakaya" nearby and had good dinner there. On the 2nd day it was windy here, but they went to Shimoda downtown and the south part of Izu peninsula. It was a first time to travel to Japan, but how did you like this country?   April 16th 2011 They came from Australia and stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights. After the massive earthquake and tsunami hit Japan on March 11th we had a lot of cancellation due to the nuclear power plant in Fukushima. In spite of this condition they didn't make a cacellation and came here. We appreciated very much. On 2nd day they went to the tip of Izu peninsula "Irozaki cape" by motorcycle and took a walk in Shimoda downtown. After Shimoda they went to Fuji-Yoshida city, but did you see the Mt. Fuji?  March 29th 2011They came from Nagano Prefecture, but he is from Canada and has been in Japan for 8 years. On the 2nd day it was sunny but they had a strong wind at Irozaki cape, a tip of Izu peninsula. It became a beautiful day on the 3rd day, and after checked out they could have a nice driving on the Western side of Izu peninsula on the way to Nagano, I think. We are looking forward to meeting you someday again Thank you for staying with us at our pension. |
 February 24th 2011They have been living in Tokyo since last July, and came to Shimoda for the first time. During their stay for 4 nights they went to Shimoda aquarium, Suzaki walking path, Shimoda rope way and many places in Shimoda. And they also went to Minami-Izu town and Kawazu town to see the Kawazu sakura festival. We are looking forward to meeting you and your pretty daughter in September again without strong wind.
