2017/07/24 They are from Switzerland and came to Japan for the 1st time, and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 3 nights. During thier stay the Fireworks diplay was held in Shirahama and they had great time with it, and they went to the beach every day. They were going to Takayama, Kyoto, Hiroshima and Kumamoto after Shimoda. Have a nice trip in Japan! Thank you very much for staying.

2017/07/11 It was the 4th time for us to welcome the young couple who live in Tokyo. They had a new family about 4 weeks ago and their parents came from England to see the baby, and came to Shimoda all together. They went to the beach in the late afternoon on the 1st day, and went to Shimoda city for walking. Thank you very much for staying with us. We are really looking forward to meet you and your cute angel.

2017/06/26 They are from the United States and live in Tokyo. It was the 4th time to stay with us, but was the last time to meet them. Because they have to leave Japan on June 27th after living in Japan for 3 years. During their stay they went to the nearest beach "Shirahama" twice, Shimoda park to see hydrangea festival and the secret cave in Toji district in Shimoda city. We are really missing you, but are really really looking forward to meeting you again in the future! Thank you very much for staying with us and giving us the good memories with you.

2017/05/28 They are from the United States and live in Tokyo. It was the 1st time to visit Shimoda and they stayed with us for 3 nights. They brought their own bikes by car and took : a cycling to Shimoda on the 1st day. On the 2nd day they went to Shimoda by car and walk around in the rain. On the 3rd day it became sunny and they went to the nearest beach, but the water was very cold to swim. We had great time with you! Thank you very much for staying with us.

2017/05/21 They came from Yokosuka city in Kanagawa Prefecture to see the Black Ship Festival in Shimoda. On the 1st daythey went to Shimoda harbor to see the fireworks display, and went to Shimoda again to see the official parade on the 2nd day. I didn't know before they came, but actually one of them have come and stayed at Pension Sakuraya with her husband 7 years ago. We had great time with you! Thank you very much for staying with us.

2017/04/27 They came from France and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for the 1st time. After arriving in Japan they went to Kyoto, Nagano and some other places, and came to Shimoda as the last stop in Japan. Unfortunately it had been cloudy during their stay they went to Irozaki cape to get on the tour boat and Shirahama shrine. Thank you very much for staying with us.

2017/04/19 They came from Germany for the 1st time. They visited Kyoto and some places for sightseeing and came to Shimoda for the last place to relax. But unfortunately it had been cloudy and rainy during their stay. We wanted them to see the beautiful beach and scenery in Shimoda. We hope you will come to Japan and Shimoda again in the future. Thank you very much for staying with us.

2017/03/31 They came from Paris in France for the first time and stayed for one night. Before coming to Shimoda they went to Nikko and Hakone, and they will go to Shuzenji, Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima and Miyajima after Shimoda. We hope you will be able to see the beautiful cherry blossoms Thank you very much for staying with us. Bon voyage au Japon!!

2017/03/23 They came from Malaysia and stayed for one night. One of them has come to Japan twice before, but it was the first time for the other one. They went to the restaurant in Shimoda to have Kinmedai fish for dinner. After they checked out they went to Dogashima on the west side of Izu peninsula and were going to stay in Yugashima at the middle of Izu peninsula. Thank you very much for staying with us.

2017/02/27 They are a family came from England. They have a family who live in Tokyo, so grandpa and grandma have come to Japan to meet their grandchildren 4 times before. During their stay they went to the beach under the blue sky on the 1st day, and went to Minami Izu town to see cherry blossoms and Irozaki cape on the 2nd day. The small children were very cute and they all are very beautiful family. We are looking forward to meeting you someday again. Thank you very much for staying with us.

2017/01/03 They are from India and live in Tokyo. They came to Izu peinsula for the 1st time. They took train to Shimizu station in Shizuoka Prefecutre and took ferry from Shimizu port to Toi port on the western side of Izu peninsula, and were able to see Mt. Fuji clearly on the way. After they checked out they went to Kawazu Seven Waterfalls. Thank you very much for staying with us.

2016/10/30 They are from France and just moved to Japan 2 months ago, and stayed with us for the 1st time. But they have come to Izu peninsula a lot of times before, because they have lived in Japan for several years since 15 years ago. They went to Rotemburo (outdoor hot spring bath) near Kawazu Seven Waterfalls, swam in Shirahama and checked in our Pension. Thank you very much for staying with us and we look forward to meeting you again.

2016/10/23 They are a couple from the Netherlands and came to Japan for the first time, and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 3 nights. Before coming to Shimoda they went to Yakushima island, Mt. Kirishima in Gagoshima Pref, HIroshima, and Wakayama. During their stay in Shimoda we sometimes had strong north wind, but they went to Shimoda city and spent all day on the beach. Thank you very much for staying with us.

2016/10/13 They are a couple from Berlin in Germany and stayed for 3 nights at Pension Sakuraya. During their stay in Shimoda unfortunately it had been windy and cloudy on the 1st and 2nd day, but they went to Shimoda city in the strong north wind. However it became sunny on the 3rd day so they were able to go to the beach to swim under the blue sky. Thank you for staying with us.   - - - - - - - - - - - My friend from Germany had lived in Shimoda before. She was a member of our chorus group in Shimoda city and had performances together before the nuclear power plant accident in Fukushima. For this time she recommended them to come to Shimoda city and to stay at Pension Sakuraya. I was very happy and excited to hear this story from this couple. 2016/07/31 They are from Hawaii and live in Yokosuka city and Zama city. They are 27 people in total including small kids stayed with us as private use. It was windy and sometimes cloudy on the 2nd day, but it was the best day for the beach on the 1st day. Thank you very much for staying with us. We had great time with you.

2016/07/26 They came from Switzerland and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 6 nights. They have come to Japan for several times, because the father's parents live in Japan. During their stay they went to the beach almost everyday, Sand Ski in Toji district and went to Yakiniku restaurant in Shimoda as well. Thank you very much for staying with us. We also had great time with you, beautiful family!

2016/07/20 They came from France and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 3 nights. It is the first time for them to travel in Japan and they are travelling for a month. During their stay in Shimoda they went to the beach everyday and went to Ebisujima island for snorkeling on the 3rd day. After check out they go to Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Koyasan, Takayama, and Mr. Fuji. Have a nice travel in Japan. Von Voyage!

2016/07/15 They came from Belgium and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 3 nights. After arriving in Japan they stayed in Tokyo and Hakone, and came to Shimoda. We didn't know before they came, but this travel in Japan is their honeymoon for about 2 weeks! We appreciate that they chose our Pension as the hotel of their honeymoon in Shimoda. Congratulations! 2016/07/14 They came from Denmark and stayed for 2 nights. He has stayed in Japan for 6 months before, but it was the 1st time for her to visit Japan this time. After checked out they went to Haneda airport to go to Philippine. Thank you for staying with us.

2016/07/10 They are from India and live in Tokyo. It was the 1st time to visit Izu peninsula. It was rain on the 1st day, but it became sunny on the 2nd day. Thank you very much for staying with us.

2016/07/01 They are from the United States of America, but their mother lives in Kamakura city and her family came to Japan to meet her from the United States. Their mother has stayed with us for 3 times before and she came to Shimoda with her family. They were very lucky to have sunny day during their stay even though we are still in rainy season. Thank you very much for staying with us. See you again in August or September.

2016/05/28 They are from Sinpapore and have come to Japan 3 or 4 times, but it was the 1st time to visit Izu peninsula. They came to Odawara city from Tokyo by train and came to Shimoda by rental car from Odawara. After Shimoda they went to Toi and Hakone. We are looking forward to meeting you again in the future. 2016/05/22 They came from Germany and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for the 1st time. After staying for 5 days in Tokyo they came to Shimoda. During their stay the Black Ship Festival was taking place in Shimoda city, so they went to Shimoda to see the fireworks display on the 1st day. And they spent almost a half of the 2nd day on the beach and went to Shimoda by walking through the mountains from Sakuraya. Thank you very much for staying with us.

2016/05/08 They came from Kamakura city in Kanagawa prefecture, and it was the second time for them to visit Shimoda. They arrived very early in the morning in Shimoda and spent all day on the beach before check in. After check out they drove on the seaside road on the west side of Izu peninsula. We are really looking forward to meeting you and your family again! Thank you very much for staying with us.

2016/04/30 They came from Switzerland and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 4 nights. Actually they wanted to go to Kyushu, but they had to change their plan because of earthquake. During their stay in Shimoda they went to Suzaki walking path, Irozaki cape, Hot spring and many places. We had very good time and communication with them in English and Spanish, because she is from Barcelona in Spain. Thank you very much for staying with us.
