Thank you for staying in Shirahama and Pension Sakuraya.

2006/07/02 They are from the United States and have been living in Atsugi, Kanagawa Pref, This is a first time for them to come to Shimoda, and they stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights. During their stay the weather was not bad, but propably they needed more sunshine, I think. Please try to come here with sun ! Their baby is really cute  and will be able to walk when we meet next time. We are looking forward to meeting you again. Thank you for staying.

2006/05/21 They came from the United States and stayed for 4 nights. They are professor, asistant and students of North Florida University. This is a 2nd time for them to stay at Sakuraya, but some of them came here for the 2nd time. Before coming to Shimoda they went to Takayama, Kyoto and many places. In Shimoda they had many experience, for example, shopping in Shimoda, swimming, exploring at the beach, sea caving and etc.... . Besides they went to Hakone during their staying at Shirahama. How did you like Japan and Shimoda ? My family and I could have a very good time with them !! We look forward to meeting you someday again. Thank you for staying at Sakuraya and Japan.

2006/04/20 They came from Saitama Pref. and stayed at Sakuraya for 1 night. This is a 3rd time for a wife of right side couple, and she came with her Japanese husband and friends. They are from Austraria excep her husband. The another couple came to Shimoda for a 1st time. How did you like Shimoda ? Please come and visit Shimoda again. On a 1st day it was rainny in the morning but sunny in the afternoon.  Especially on a 2nd day it was very beautiful day, so I guess that they could have a great time in Izu peninsula. I heard that the couple on the right side are going to move to Austraria next month and live there forever. If you come to Japan again, please visit Shimoda. 2006/03/31 They are from Austraria. But they are living in Akita Pref. and came from there this time. On a first day they called to Sakuraya from Numazu city to make a reservation, after that, they went to Dogashima in Western side of Izu to take a bath in Rotenburo. They had a very strong wind there, but they could see Mt. Fuji clearly. In winter we can see it every 2 or 3 days, but can't see it not so many times in this season. Yes, they were very lucky. They stayed at Sakuraya for 1 night, and  went to Kanagawa Pref. I recommended them to go to Rotenburo in Kawazu. Could you find it ? How did you like it ? Thank you for staying at Sakuraya. 2006/03/22 She came from Italy alone and stayed at Sakuraya for 1 night. This is a first time for her to visit Japan and she stays in Japan for 2 weeks this time. She went to Tokyo and Hakone before coming to Shimda, and after here, she goes to Hiroshima, Kyoto and Nara. She came to Shimoda to see a  beautiful sea, but we are very sorry that she couldn't see this beautiful Shirahama beach this time, because it was cloudy and rainny during her stay. However I think that she may be able to see Japanese beautiful cherry blossom in Hiroshima or Kyoto. We look forward to meeting you someday again. 2006/03/19 This family came from Tokyo. A family on the right side is living in Tokyo, the father is from France and the mother is from Shingapore. A couple, grandparents of this family, is living in Paris, and came to Japan to meet their grandchild one week ago.   Their grandchild is 1 year and seven months old. Yes, she is very cute girl !! This time they stayed  in Shimoda for 1 night. But during their staying it was almost cloudy. So I am very sorry that you could not see the beautiful sea in Shimoda. This grandparents will go back to Paris nest monday. "This summer we will come again to swim." they said. We appreciated to hear that very much. We look forward to meeting you again. Thank you for staying. PS. My son, Yuuki, is same age of her. They seems like a twin !!

2006/01/22 They are from Australia but have been living in Tokyo for 10 months. On the 1st day they went to "Onsen" the hot spring, and Jazz Bar in Shimoda to have a dinner. I heard that they could have a good time at this Bar. After checking out they went to Cable Car and Secret cave in Shimoda. Could you find this cave easily? How did you like it? They will go back to Australia 3 months later, so probably this was a 1st time and last time to visit Shimoda. Thank you for staying at our Pension. Please come back to Japan as a traveller someday.

2005/12/31 New Year Party !! They are Japanese Brasilian who live in Kanagawa Prefecture. This time they had a New Year Party at Sakuraya using our Pension as a private use.  (Please see the webpage of this party) After dinner they started to prepare for the party, and it was started at the midnight. It was first time for us to get into the Brasilian new year party, but it was very excited for us, and our daughters could have a great time and experiences. Thank you for inviting us to your party and staying at Sakuraya. We look forward to meeting you someday again.

2005/11/26 They came from Yokosuka in Kanagawa Pref. and stayed at our pension for 1 night. This time they came by motorcycles because all of them are members of team "Yokosuka Knights". One of them who is road captain of this team has stayed at our Pension last November for Thanksgiving Day Party, so he told his friends about our Pension this time. We have sometimes the groups of motorcycles, but it was first time for us that we had 23 guests who came by Harley-Davidson. All of them are very poweful and cheerful. 2005/11/02 They are from Belgium and living in Tokyo, but their mother came from Belgium this time. It was 1st time for thier mother to stay in Pension and Japanese style room and to take a Japanese style breakfast. How did you like these things? They stayed at our pension for 2 nights, but it was cloudy on the 2nd day. But it was really beautiful day on the 3rd day, so we guess that they could have good time at the beach in Shimoda. Actually they have 2 daughters, but I took this picture with our son "Yuuki" . Because their daughters had already been in the car. We look forward to meeting you someday again. 2005/10/25 They came from Taiwan. They are 3 brothers and their mother. They have ever been to Japan many times, but their mother came this time for the seventh time. They found our website through the BBS of National University of Taiwan like the all of other guests from Taiwan. They said "This pension is very famous in the internet of Taiwan.". We appreciated very much. This time they came to Izu peninsula for the 1st time, they stayed in Ito city before coming to Shirahama, and they were going to Dogashima in the Western side of Izu. Before that they went to Kawazu seven water falls. How did you like it? Did you go all of these falls? We look forward to meeting you someday again. Thank you for your staying at our pension.

2005/10/03 They came from the United States of America and stayed for 2 nights. It was a first time for them to come to Shimoda. He has ever stayed for 2 years in Japan 12 years ago so he speaks Japanese very well, but this was a first time for her to visit Japan. On the second day they went to Shimoda Ropeway (Cable car), and Shirahama beach. And then he took many beautiful photos. On the last day I had a time to spend with them, so I took them to the entrance of Shimoda city "Ogasaki Wing" and  "Itado Port", a small fisherman's port in Shirahama with my son "Yuuki". 2005/09/09 They came from Tokyo and stayed for 2 nights. He is from Myanmar and has been in Japan for about 10 years. He graduated Nihon University that I, the host of Sakuraya graduated too. His wife is Japanes who had ever lived in England for many years when she was child. She was interested in Myanmar and started to study about this country. Their 1st child is very cute and understand Myanmar language, Japanese and English. Their 2nd child is same age of our baby "Yuuki". We look forward to meeting you someday again.
