Thank you for staying in Shirahama and Pension Sakuraya.

2006/12/30 They are from Indea and have been living in Japan for 2 and half year. It was a first time to come to Izu this time, and stayed at Sakuraya for 1 night. After check-out they went to "Sand Ski" in Shimoda, but how did you like it ? Could you find it easily and do it ? We are looking forward to meeting you next summer. Thank you for staying.

2006/12/22 Today we got an e-mail from Netherland with photo. They are a family who stayed at Sakuraya for 4 nights last August. And this time they sent us the Christmas E-mail and their baby's beautiful photo. Her father said that she still knows our son's name "Yuuki". Our son is very happy to have a friend in a very far country. We hope they will be able to meet together someday again. We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you very much.

2006/11/23 They came from Indonesia for a congress in Yokohama, and after that, they stayed at Hakone and Shimoda. When they came to Shirahama it was very cold here. So that we were very sorry that you could not see beautiful beach. But we could go to Shirahama primary school to see the student's running competition after breakfast. Probably it was a first time for him to see it, so it was good experience, right ? After check-out they went to Shimoda aquarium, but could you have a good time there ? 2006/11/03 They are from Belgium and  have been living   in Tokyo. And came to Sakuraya for the 5th time. This time they came to Shimda with their parents who came from Belgium to meet their grandchildren. They went to the beach on the 1st day, and were going to go to the aquarium on the 2nd day, they said. Their children are very cute and our son, Yuuki were happy to play with their daughter as always. But they have to move to Belgium next May because of their father's job. Can we meet again before that ? Our son is missing your daughter, we guess. Thank you for staying and we look forward to meeting you again.

2006/10/15  They are 3rd guest of our Pension, who came from Singapore. They stayed for 3 nights this time and it was beautiful  everyday. so they could have good travel in Izu peninsula, I think. On 2nd day they went to Irozaki cape by bus from Shimoda station. And on 3rd day they went to Dogashima to get on tour boat, and after coming back from Dogashima they went to Jogasaki in Izukogen. Could you have a good time with beautiful sea and mountains in Izu peninsula ? We look forward to meeting you someday again. Thank you for staying.

2006/10/12 They came from the United States for a conference of science at Yokohama. After that they stayed at Sakuraya. Her parents are from Taiwan and she was born in America. So she could talk with our guests who came from Taiwan and stayed at our Pension on same night. He has ever stayed in Japan for 3 years and teached English at high school in Miyazaki Pref. I was surprised to hear that, because my home town is Miyazaki !! We look forword to meeting you again someday. Thank you for staying.

2006/10/11 They came from Taiwan and stayed for 2 nights. It was 2nd time for them to visit to Japan but 1st time to Izu. Before coming to Shimoda they stayed at Toi and Kumomi on the west side of Izu peninsula. During stay in Shiraham they went to Amagi mountain for hiking of 4 hours, from Mizutaru to Kawazu Nanataru. "Sakuraya is very famous in Taiwan Internet sites" they said. We are very appriciated that many guests from Taiwan wrote a lot of articles and stories about our Pension Sakuraya. They have their own website too.   http://www.traveltogether.url.tw/ They are going to post an article about this travel to Izu in their site. We are looking forword to seeing this. 2006/09/16 They are from Shingapore and have been living in Yokohama for 1 year and half. It was a first time for them to visit to Shimoda, but we are very sorry that it had not been good weather during your stay. However they could go to the beach, Shimoda town, Rotenburo in Kawazu Severn Falls and many places. "Your English site is very good, especially your Travel Guide in English is very convinience and helpful for us to visit to Shimoda.", he said. We appreciated very much to hear that. "We have only 9 months until we have to go back to Shinpapore.", they said. In Japan there are a lof of beautiful places, scenary and lovely towns especially in the country side, so have a good time in Japan. Thank you for staying at Sakuraya in Shimoda. 2006/09/10 They are handsome Japanese, beautiful Australian and 11 months cute baby living in Tokyo. They stayed at our Pesnion for the 1st time. On the first and the second day it was sunny in Shimoda, so they could have a very good time at Kujuppama Beach. Especially it was really beautiful day in Shirahama on September 10, so they could see a gorgious scenery and a beutiful blue ocean there. But as their baby had a high fever on the second night they were worrying about it. However he didn't have a big sick, just only fever. This is their car. It is really huge !! I think this is an ancient car but I am pleased with this car !! We look forward to meeting you again ! Take care of your baby.

2006/09/08 They, 2 children and their mother are Japanese family who living in Tokyo, and  a couple came to Japan from the United States.   This Japanese woman has experiences of home staying in the United States, and one of this American couple is a brother of this  host family. So this couple came to Japan to meet her and her family, and to have holidays in Japan. During their stay they could have sunny days and good time in Shimoda. We look forward to meeting you someday again. Thank you for staying and souvenirs from Oregon !!

2006/08/29 They, 2 children, father, mother and grandmother are from Singapore and have been in Japan for one year.    This time they stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights and could swim, and have a fun in Shimoda. "We would like to come to Shimoda again in other season." We were very glad to hear that. Thank you for staying and we look forward to meeting you soon again.

2006/08/28 They came from Holland to Japan for the 2nd time, but it was 1st time to visit to Shimoda this time. During their stay for 4 nights the weather had been sunny and little cloudy, so they could have a great time in Shimoda. They went to Shimoda to get on Tour boat and Cable car, and could swim everyday in Shirahama beach. By the way he has a very good camera and takes a lot of pictures, and they are updating their weblog with his pictures and her articles. 2006/08/25 They are American family and live in Zushi, Kanagawa. It was a first time for them to visit Shirahama and stayed for 3 nights at Sakuraya. During their stay they could have a great time with sun. And our daughter, "Hikari" ( wearing white shirt ) could have a fun with them having a dinner in their room and playing at the beach. " I was very happy playing with them in spite of meeting them for the 1st time." my daughter said. Thank you very much for everything. We look forward to meeting you again. PS: We got e-mail from their father after they came back to their home. "We were happy that Hikari's parents trusted us and let her accompany us to the beach. They are so busy caring for their guests, they have little time to take her there themselves. Imagine having the beach so near, yet not having the opportunity to go. We think Hikari is a delight as a playmate and a gracious little hostess in her own right. My girls were so sad to say good-bye!"

2006/07/30  All of them are from Paris. One of them lives in Tokyo and the others came from Paris. This is a second time for this couple on the right side to come to Shirahama. In July 2 years ago this couple came here for the 1st time and pleased with Shirahama beach. So they visited Shimoda again with their friend living in Tokyo. How did you like Shirahama this time ? 2006/07/10  They are from the United States and live in Tokyo. (A baby is our son, "Yuuki".) It was a first time for them to visit Shimoda and Shirahama beach. Actually they were going to travel abroad from the end of June but they had to cancel it because of their father's job. That's why they came to Shimoda instead of it. They stayed at out Pension for 4 nights and could have a really good time and experiences, swimming, boggie board (Bodyboard) and got into the class of surfing. One more thing, when we are talking on a first day I said, "Would you like to go to the sea with me for crab fishing ? It is possible because we have no other guest who will take dinner tomorrow night."   On a 2nd day we went to the beach for crab fishing after breakfast together. Yes, we could get 18 crabs !! After coming back to Sakuraya we could eat boiled crabs together. We look forward to meeting you someday again. Thank you for staying at Sakuraya.
