2007/12/08  They came from Hong Kong and stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights.  They are sisters who were born in Hong Kong, and moved to Newzealand and lived for more than 10 years.  When they were students of high school they studied Japanese, so they speak Japanese very well. On the second day they went to Amagi mountain and Kawazu Seven Water Falls. After Shimoda they were going to Shuzenji, Hakone and Tokyo. Did you have a good time in Japan this time ? We are looking forward to meeting you someday again. Thank you for staying at Sakuraya.

2007/11/26  They came from Taiwan and stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights.  This is a third time for them to travel Japan.  At the first time they went to Kobe and Osaka, and went to Hokkaido for the second time, but this is a first time for them to travel Izu peninsula.  On the second day they went to Amagi mountain and walked down from top to Kawazu Seven water falls through Odoriko Walking Path. It was cloudy but they said that they could have a good time walking and taking pictures there. After checking out Sakuraya they were going to Irozaki Cape, but wasn't it heavy windy there?  And we were worrying about you, but could you find any good accommodation at Toi town? Thank you for staying at Sakuraya.  We are looking forward to meeting you someday again. 2007/11/22  They came from Australia and stayed for 2 nights at Sakuraya.  Before coming to Shimoda they stayed in Numazu city  to get into the competition, International Skills Festival for All, Japan 2007.  And this time one of them got  "Silver Medal" of Electrical Installations !!  Congratulations !!!!!  He had come to Japan last July to check many things for this competition and stayed at Sakuraya for the 1st time.  They gave us the small stuffed animals and bumeran, and we got a flag of Australia this time.  They were going to Kyoto after Shimoda, but  "Could you find any good accommodation there?"  We are looking forward to meeting you someday again.  Thank you for staying at Sakuraya and visiting Japan!!

2007/09/16 They are from the United States and have been living in Yokohama for 6 weeks. This time it was their first travel in Japan. During their stay in Shimoda they went to the beach and went to the Seven Water falls in Kawazu town. How did you like Onsen there? They said their parents will come to Japan next spring and they are going to travel to Shimoda again. We are looking forward to meeting you ABCD family again. 2007/08/25  They are from Australia and have been in Japan for 2 years. This time they came to Shimoda for the 1st time. Actually they wanted to come last summer, but they couldn't do it. During their stay it has been sunny and they could have beautiful days. "My hometown is Sydney but we don't have a beautiful and clear water like Shirahama." he said. We are looking forward to meeting you next month (?) or next summer. Thank you for your staying at Sakuraya.

2007/08/08 They came from England to Japan to travel for 3 weeks for the 1st time and stayed at Sakuraya for 5 nights. During their stay they went to Shimoda town, read books at Sakuraya's balcony and went to the beach to swim everyday. Could you have a good time in Shimoda with sunshine? Thank you for coming to Japan and staying at Sakuraya.

2007/07/26 They came from England for their first travel to Japan. They made a phone call to book 1 day before their staying and stayed at Sakuraya for 4 nights. Could you have a good travel in Japan? They were going to another "Shirahama" in Wakayama Pref. after Shimoda, but could you get there? Thank you very much for staying. See you someday again!!

07/12/2007 They are from France and staying in Tokyo for 1 month. This is a 4th time for him and 2nd time for her. And they stayed at Sakuraya for the 1st time. When they checked-in they found a stuffed animal in our building and said, "That's Rirakkuma Bear "! I was very surprised to hear that and asked her how she knew it. When they came to Japan last year they brought many kinds of Rirakkuma back to France. That's why they knew that bear. We are looking forward to meeting you someday again. Thank you for staying.

07/11/2007 They came from Norway and stayed for 6 nights at Pension Sakuraya. Before coming to Shimoda they went to Kyoto, Tokyo and Morioka. During their staying they went to the beach, walked around Shirahama area, went to Shimoda and etc.... They spent their time slowly.   I took this picture in the train at Shimoda station. Could you have a good time in Shimoda? We are looking forward to meeting you someday again with sunshine. 07/10/2007 They came from Austraria and stayed at Sakuraya for 1 night. They had a reason to come to Japan this time. It is an "International Skills Festival for All, Japan 2007" which will takes place in Numazu city in Shizuoka Pref in November. And actually they will have a competition in this festival. It means it would be "World Skills Olympic", I think. After check-out as I had to go to Shimoda for shopping I took them to the station. (It is impossible to do it in the busy season!) And they were lucky, because they could get on the local train "Resort 21"to go to Atami, and because this train works only about 7 times a day. When they will come to Japan in November they are going to stay at Sakuraya again. We are looking forward to meeting you then again. Thank you for staying.

07/06/2007 They are from France and have been living in Tokyo. And this time they stayed at Sakuraya for the 2nd time with their parents who came from France. Last time they came and stayed in May when "Black Ship Festival" took place in Shimoda. I took this picture when we met them in Shimoda after checked-out. Their children are very cute and all of them are very beautiful and good family. We are looking forward to meeting you again. Thank you for staying. @06/28/2007 This couple who came from Hong Kong have just married on June 21st and came to Japan for their honey moon.  Congratulations ! (^ ^)/~ I was thinking that they had wedding ceremony in Hong Kong, but actually they had it in Canada!! This is a picture which was taken in front of Lake Louise in Banff National Park in Canada. This is a very beautiful and gorgious photo, because they are very happy, I think. I have heard that they have come to Japan every year. We are looking forward to meeting you next year again. Congratulations again and have a good life!!

06/15/2007 They are from Germany and have been in Japan for 6 years. Not only the parents speak Japanese very well but also their son speaks it like Japanese child. Besides their son is very cute and looks like an angel with brond hair. They came to Shimoda after 5 years this time and went to Western Izu peninsula for diving. When they had dinner he showed me the beautiful pictures which he took in the water. By the way she is in the forth month of pregnancy and will have a second baby this year. Please take care of everything for your new baby. We hope we meet you again in September if it is possible. Thank you for staying at Sakuraya and playing with my son Yuuki. @

06/04/2007 They came from England and stayed at Sakuraya for 3 nights. They have ever been to 17 countries in the world, but it was a first time to travel to Japan this time. They said, "We had traveled many places for 10 days in Japan, so we want to relax here." As they had good weather during they stayed in Shimoda they could have a good and relaxed time, I think. Thank you for playing with our children. Our children don't speak English but they could play with them together without English and have a good experience this time. 05/30/2007 They live in Singapore and visited Japan for the 1st time. This time they made a reservation one day before from Ito city where they stayed. In spite of traveling in Japan for the 1st time they lent a car at Atami and drove to Shimoda. On the 1st day they went to Kawazu Seven Falls and took a bath at Rotenburo there. On the 2nd day they went to southern area of Izu peninsula and were going to stay at Nishiizu town. Could you find any hotel in Nishiizu? Thank you for staying at Sakuraya. 05/12/2007 They are from Indea and have been living in Tokyo for 2 years and half. This time they came to Shimoda for a first time and stayed at Sakuraya with their friend's recommendation. They were worrying about the weather before coming to Shimoda, but actually they had beautiful days. So they could go to the Aquarium, cable car and beach to swim. They are working in a bank in Tokyo as the computer programmers, but will go back to Indea after 2 years. We are looking forward to meeting you again during you stay in Japan. 05/03/2007 They are from Belgium and have been living in Tokyo. In 2005 they stayed at Sakurya for the 1st time and  came to stay so many times in these 2 years. When they stayed last month they made a reservation for this GW and came again to stay for 2 nights.   Actually they are going to move to Belguim in July after their stay in Japan for 6 years. But when they checked out and said, "We will come and stay again for the last time in Japan next month if it is possible." We are looking for meeting you next month. Thank you for staying. 05/02/2007 They are from India and 3 people live in Tokyo and 2 women came from India. We have ever seen Indian Sari on TV but saw it for the 1st time actually. As they don't eat meat and fish they brought thier food and cooked it in our kitchen. My daughter "Hikari" was interested in cooking of Indian cuisine very much. 05/02/2007 They are from India and have been living in Tokyo for 2 and half years, but it was first time to visit to Shimoda. They wen to Shirahama beach, Suzaki peninsula and Rendaiji for Onsen on a 1st day, and had a plan to go to Yumigahama, Irozaki and get on a tour boat for a 2nd day. 04/27/2007  They came from Italy to get the informations for their job "Shiatsu Massage" with staying for 1 month in Japan, and stayed for 2 nights at Sakuraya. Actually they are learning Japanese in Italy, so we could have good comunications with them in Japanese. They are going back to Italy at the middle of May. 04/08/2007 They are from Belgium and the family on the left side came from Tokyo.   They have came and stayed at Sakuraya many times in these 3 years. This time the father of this family met his friend on the right side after 20 years and came with him. His friend have been living in Dubai with his own family for 4 years. On the 2nd day they went to Onsen in Kawazu seven falls after checked out, but how did you like it? By the way the family on the left side will move back to Belgium next July after 6 years stay in Japan. They have already made a reservation for GW, but it would be a last time to meet, right? When they came to Sakuraya our children, Yuuki and Hikari could play with their children every time, so we could have a lot of nice time with them. We are looking forward to meeting you again soon. 04/07/2007 They came from Hong Kong and stayed at Sakuraya for the 1st time. After they arrived at Narita Airport they went to Hakone, Shuzenji and Dogashima. But it was very difficult for them, the foreigners who don't speak Japanese to make a reservation for the hotels in Japan. Because the most of hotels in Japan do not have English speakers, especially in the country side. Before coming to Japan they asked us to help for the reservation, but we could help them to contact to the hotels which they wanted to stay because we had enough time to help in this season. They went to Ito for the sightseeing after Shimoda, but how did you like it? We look forward to meeting you someday again. Thank you for staying.

04/04/2007 They came from Minesota in the United States to travel in Japan for 8 nights. The father has come to Japan for several times, but it was a first time for his daughters to vist to Japan. By the way his wife's great grand parents were Japanese who were from Akita Pref. and Kumamoto Pref. So I heard that he and his wife went to Kumamoto last time. This time they came to Shimoda after Kyoto. And they wanted to take an Onsen in Izu peninsula this time. I recommend "Sun Ship Imaiham", but how did you like it ? They are very good family, I think. 04/03/2007 They came from Hong Kong and stayed at Sakuraya for 3 nights. They has just been married on last Sunday, April 1st. Yes, they came to Japan as their honeymoon !!! This time it was a second time for them to travel to Japan. they stayed in only Tokyo last time, and came to Izu peninsula for the 1st time. They went to Shuzenji, Matsuzaki, Dogashima and Toi town during their staying in Izu. When they checked out, they said, "We will be come back next year !!" We are very appreciated to hear that. 03/30/2007 They came from Hong Kong to Japan for the 2nd time, but it was 1st time to visit Izu Peninsula. (The middle woman is my wife.) They have stayed in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto last time, but they travel only Shimoda and Ito this time. They stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights, on the 2nd day they went to Kawazu Seven Falls to walk around and take an open air bath (outdoor bath) at Amagi-sou Hotel in Kawazu. How did you like Izu Peninsula ? We have other many places to see and experience here in Izu. See you again someday !! Thank you for staying.

03/25/2007 They came from Singapore and stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights. It was a first time to visit to Japan for them. After arrival at Kansai Airport in Osaka they went to Kyoto, Takayama, Mt. Fuji, Hakone and Tokyo. In Shimoda they went to Irozaki cape, Shimoda Cable Car and many places. Could you have a good time in Shimoda ? We are looking forward to meeting you someday again. On the 2nd day they went to the beach and moutain to walk, and went to Southern and Western Izu by car on the 3rd day. I think they could have a good time in Izu peninsula, but how did you like it ? 03/02/2007  They came to Shimoda from Hong Kong for the 1st time. They have ever traveled to Japan for 3 times, and had been to Hokkaido, Osaka and Hakone. On the first day they went to Kawazu Sakura festival, and were going to Minami Izu town and Kawazu Seven Falls. 02/21/2007 They came from Taiwan and stayed for 4 nights. Before coming to Japan they made a reservation for 2 nights, but they changed their schedule when they stayed at Sakuraya, and stayed for 4 nights at last. They went to many places during their staying, Kawazu town, Shimokamo, Izu Kogen and so on. They have 2 cute daughters and they are very lovely family. 02/10/2007 They live in Yokota base (Or Yokosuka? Sorry, I don't remember.) and stayed at Sakuraya for the 1st time. On the1st day they arrived at Sakuraya in the evening, so they were going to play until late afternoon on the 2nd day. They wanted to go to many places, Tsumekizaki cape to see narcissus, Shimoda cable car, Touji Sand Ski and etc. But could you go all places today ? 02/02/2007 They came from Tokyo and stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights. He is from Germany and a gentle man who speaks Japanese very well, and she is from Philippines and has a very beautiful smile. They went to Shimoda aquarium, Irozaki cape, Dogashima and many places during their staying. As it was sunny for 3 days, so they could see a beautiful sea in Shimoda, I think. 01/26/2007 They are from Germany and have been living in Japan for 6 months. This time they stayed at Sakuraya for 3 nights. It was sunny and very warm on the 1st day but it became cloudy and cold after that. However they could drive in south and west Izu peninsula and see the beautiful ocean during their staying. Their son is 4 years old and speaks germany very well, and their dauther is only 1 year and half. Both of them are very very cute !! We are looking forward to meeting you again.
