Thank you for staying in Shirahama and Pension Sakuraya.

2005/08/15 They came from England and stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights. When they arrived at our Pension it was very hot and humid. But I guess that they could have very good time in Shirahama. After Shirahama they were going to Kyoto. How did you like Kyoto city? Was it hot and humid too?  We look forward to meeting you someday again.  Thank you for staying.

2005/08/09 She is from Peru and lives in Shizuoka Pref. and he came from Spain to Japan for holidays. During their staying it was sunny and they could spend good time at Shirahama beach. They stayed for 2 nights at Sakuraya, and after that they stayed at other accomodation in Shirahama for more one night, because they were pleased with Shirahama beach. They said " We will be back soon." when they checked out. We look forward to meeting you again. Thank you for staying.

2005/07/16 Beautiful Ladies !! They came from Tokyo, and this is a first time to stay at Pension Sakuraya. They are very beautiful ladies like movie actress or models, and speak Japanese very well. On the second day they were going to Irozaki cape in Southern area of Izu peninsula. Could you get there by No.4 bus? We look forward to meeting you again. Thank you for staying at our pension.

2005/07/09 They came from Taiwan to Japan for the 3rd time and stayed at Shirahama for the 1st time. During their staying in Japan of 2 weeks they went to Izukogen, Kawazu, Amagi and Shuzenji before coming to Sakuraya. They found our Pension in the website of Taiwan National University's BBS (this and this in Chinese), and made a reservation. In this BBS our first guest and another guest from Taiwan posted their articles about Sakuraya and travel to Izu. On July 9th, we had Shirahama fireworks festival, so they could see it. Our daughter "Hikari" played with their daughter and another guest's daughter together. Thank you for staying. We look forward to meeting you someday again.

2005/06/12 They came from Saitama Pref. and stayed for 2 nights. They are from Australia, and the daughter lives in Saitama Pref. and her mother came to Japan from Australia for a 3rd time. This daughter came to Sakuraya last June but it was a first time for this mother to visit to Shimoda. On 2nd day it was very fine day. They went to Shimoda Park where a  hydrangea festival is held and had a good time in Shimoda city. And I guess that they could see a beautiful beach under the sunshine in Shirahama. 2005/06/10 This family are from the United States and came from Yokosuka in Kanagawa Pref.. This time the grandfather and grandmother came to Japan for the 1st time on June1st. They traveled to Kyoto, Kamakura, Mt. Fuji, and Tokyo, and after that, came to Shimoda with their son's family. During their staying in Shimoda it was cloudy, but they said that the water of Shirahama is very clean and beautiful and they could spend a good time here. When they checked out I took these pictures with my daughter and baby boy. This parent will go back to the United States on June 13th, Monday. Please come back to Japan again and we look forward to meeting you someday. Thank you for staying and visiting Japan.

2005/06/05  They live in Tokyo and are studying Japanese together at the Japanese school.  They are from Taiwan, China, France and The United States, but they speak Japanese to communicate each other.  After check out they went to the beach, and two of them swam.  And after that they went to the Seven falls and Onsen in Kawadu.  How did you like these Seven falls ? Could you find Onsen easily ?  We are looking forward to meeting you someday again.  Thank you for staying at Sakuraya in Shirahama.

2005/05/28 They are from France and live in Tokyo now. This time they came to Shimoda for the 1st time. In Shirahama they went to the beach. But it was not so hot and the water was still cold. So they could not swim this time. On the 2nd day they were going to Tsumekizaki trail. But could you find that? How did you like it? When they checked out, I took a picture of them with my baby, Yuuki. They looks like a family, don't they? Thank you for coming to Shimoda and staying at Sakuraya. 2005/05/20 They are our daughters, Akari, Hikari, Yuuki and our guest family's baby. He lives in Yokosuka, and his family came to Sakuraya for the 3rd time. This time they came to Shimoda to see the Blackship Festival. On the 1st day, we went to Mt. Nesugata to see the fireworks together. And on the 2nd day, they went to see the events of this festival. We hope that our baby and him will be good friends forever. Thank you for staying at Sakuraya. We are looking forward to meeting you and your family again.

2005/05/19  They came from Yokosuka in Japan and stayed at Sakuraya for 4 nights. He is an officer of U.S Navy who is from Guam. And she is from Hawaii. This time they came to Shimoda for Blackship Festival. During their staying they saw the Fireworks, Official Parade and other events of this festival.  On May 21st, they invited us, Akari, Hikari and me to his ship. We could see the weapons in the shipboard, the wheelhouse, the dinning of crews, the post office, the meeting room for officers and etc. Our daughters and I were very excited. It was a great experiece for us. 2005/05/10 They are from France and live in Yokohama now. They stayed at Sakuraya for 3 nights for the first time. During their staying they went to Shimoda, Irozaki cape in Southern Izu, Dogashima in Western Izu, Seven Falls in Kawazu town and etc. Before coming to Japan they stayed in German and Austraria, and they will move to Qatar next to Saudi Arabia next month, June. 2005/05/06 They live in Tokyo. The father is from England and the mother is from The United States. This time they stayed at our pension for 2 nights. On the first day it was very strong windy, so thier ambrela was broken by wind. On the second day they went to Aqueriam, History Museum, Shimoda cable car etc. in Shimoda city. On the last day they spend a time in the Shirahama beach. We could have a good time with them, and our baby "Yuuki" was very happy as they held him many times. They are moving to Germany next month, June. We look forward to meeting you someday when you will be back to Japan. Thank you for staying at our Pension.

2005/04/11 They are from the United States, and have been living in Hayama town, Kanagawa Pref. from August 2003. They came with their daughter on April 7th, 2003 for the 1st time. And this time they came again with their mother who visited Japan from the United States for the 3rd time. On the first day it was really windy and rainny and the 2nd day too. If it was sunny, their mother could see the beautiful beach of Shirahama and could get on the boat at Dogashima in Southern peninsula of Izu. It was great regret.   In addition, I had very important meeting on that night, so I could not have enough communication with them, and their mother also. By the way my son "Yuuki" is very happy. Because many our guests holded him so many times. We guess he would be not hesitate about everything and become a cosmopolitan !! Thank you for holing him kindly and staying at our Pension. 2005/04/09 He is from Tront in Canada and has been living in Japan for 3 years. She is Japanese who speaks English fluently. This time they came from Kanagawa Pref.. On the 1st day they went to Izukogen to enjoy the cherry blossom festival. On the 2nd day they went to Shimoda to explore the historical city. When they checked out I took this picture with our son. 2005/04/02 They came from Taiwan and have ever came to Japan 3 or 4 times until now. This time, they stayed in Japan for about 11 days, and went to Tokyo, Atami, Ito, Izukougen, Kawazu, Shirahama, Matsuzaki, Heda and Shuzenji. We got Woolong Tea from them. It was very good and tasty tea. Thank you for your present of Taiwan. We are looking forward to meeting you again someday. Thank you very much. P.S Please say hello and thanks to your sister !!

2005/03/20 He is nice Itarian and she is beautiful French, and they live in Japan for about 2 years. But We were surprised that they speak and understand Japanese very well. On the 2nd day it was sunny and the sea was very beautiful. They spent a time in the beach all day until the departure time of train in the early evening. 2005/03/19  He is from the United States and she is from South Africa, and  they live in Yokohama now.  They came by one motorcycle last time, September 14th, 2003,  but this time they came by 2 motorcycles.  I heard that they were married on October 29th, 2004.  Congratulations !! 2005/02/12  He came from Hong Kong alone. He has come to Japan for several times, but came to Izu for the 1st time.  On the 1st day he came from Hakone through Odawara city by JR Express train "Odoriko" with "Odoriko Minami Izu Free Kippu" that is very useful and reasonable free pass.  On the 2nd day he went to Kawazu town and Seven Falls by bus from Shirahama.  On the last day he went to Izozaki cape by bus. Could you get there? How did you like the view from this cape? We worried about the weather, because it was cloudy. And after the travel to Izu he went back to Tokyo. Could you find the CD that you wanted to buy?  As  he  sent  us  these pictures after going back to Hong Kong, so we could put these in this page. 2005/02/11  They live in Kakegawa city, Shizuoka Prefecture.  They came from Canada, and have been in Japan for 1 and half year as teachers of English.  During their 3 days stay at Sakuraya they went to some temples in Shimoda, Kawazu seven falls and took a bath at Outdoor Onsen of Amagisou.  They are going to stay in Japan for another 1 and half year.  We look forward to meeting you again before going back to Canada. 2005/01/28  They came from Taiwan. This is the 3rd time to visit Japan for him, and  2nd time for her.  Last time they stayed in only Tokyo 3 years ago, so they came to Izu for the 1st time. They found our Pension through the BBS of Taiwan National University ( another page of this site is here) like other guests from Taiwan.  They stayed at Sakuraya for one night, but it was cloudy and rainny during their staying.  On 2nd day I could take them to Kawadu cho to see the Sakura festival, because I had to go shopping there.  We are looking forward to meeting you again. 2005/01/23  She livis in Australia with her son and daughter.  This tme she went back to her home country Hong Kong where her husband lives now. When she had been working in Bank in Hong Kong, she came to Japan with her buisiness. And she went to Hakone, Nikko or some places. But it was her first time to visit Izu.  As I had to go to the bank in Kawazu cho, I could take her there by my car. And I could show her the cherry blossom.  Thank you for coming to Izu and staying at Sakuraya.  We look forward to meet you someday again.

2004/11/26~27  They came to Shimoda for Thanksgiving Day Party from Yokosuka. Some of them are Japanse and the another are Americans.  7 people stayed for 2 nights from 26th November to prepare this party.  It was our first time to join the  party of Thanksgiving Day. We could have fun and great time with them.  We put some pictures of this party here.  Thank you for coming and the party. We  look forward to meet you someday again.

2004/11/19  They live in the United states.  They came to Japan after going back to her home country Australia, and  stay in Japan for 4 days and 2 nights in Shirahama, Shimoda.  He is an engineer of "Deepwater Intervention Consulting Technology" and she is an artist. 2004/10/10  They came to Shimoda for the first time and stayed at Sakuraya for 1 night.  They are very beautiful and funny. One of them is from the United States and the another girl is from Malaysia. They have been in Japan for 3 years, and for 5 months.  This time they came by Odoriko Express train with "Odoriko Minami Izu Free Kippu" and went to Dogashima and Tsumekizaki by bus on the 1st day. And they were going to Irozaki in Minamai Izu. Could you see the Seven Islands from the cape?  We look forward to meeting you again. Thank you for staying.

2004/09/10  They are 2 families who live in Tokyo. They stayed in Sakuraya for 2 nights.  One of these 2 families came to Shirahama in last April with their parents who came from Israel, and stayed here, Sakuraya for 9 nights.  Two wives are friends of Junior High School each other. That's why they came together this time.  On the 1st nights they came after their job, so they arrived at Shirahama late evening. On next day it was sunny and windy. They went to the beach to swim, but we were worry about the sand by strong wind.  Actually we appreciated that they could swim.  We are looking forward to meeting you someday again.  Thank you for staying.  P.S  When you go to Thailand to meet your parents in December, please say Hello from us.

2004/09/04  They came from Australia. They live in Victoria and have a Olive Farm of 40ha. The name of this farm is "Golden Creek Olives".  He is a  doctor, farmer and producer of Olives.   So they are usually very busy. This time they finished their crop of olives, and after that they came to Japan for 2nd time and stayed at Sakuraya for 3 nights.  They rent a car in Kawaguchi-ko in Yamanashi Pref and came to Shimoda by that car.  During their staying they went to southern area of Shimoda and swim in the beach.  We are looking forward to meeting you again.  Thank you for staying.

2004/08/26  He is American who came from Osaka Prefecture. He have been in Japan for 12 years, and he is a professor of a university in Osaka.  He stayed here, Sakuraya from August 26th to September 2nd, for 9 days.  He went to hiking to Mt. Takane, Mihogasaki cape and many places in Shirahama during his staying.  After going back to Osaka, he is going to move to Tailand to teach in one of universities there.  We appreciated that we could have good comunication. He is a very nice gentleman.  We are looking forward to meeting you again when you come back to Japan someday.  Thank you for staying.

2004/08/12  Ellos son Argentinos. Viven en Japon por 2 anos.  They are from Argentina and have been living in Japan for 2 years. They speak Japanese very well. I have studied Spanish when I was a student of university. But I forgot almost of it, so we communicated in Japanese. This is their first time to visit Shimoda. They went to several beaches in Shimoda city. But they said that Shirahama is best!  They are going to live in Japan more 2 years. We are looking forward to meet you again.  Thank you for staying.

2004/08/03  They came from Saitama and they have beauty parlor and boutique in Kumagaya city.  She is Japanese and has experience of study in Paris. He is from Iran. 2004/07/25  They are British family. Their son has been living in Nagoya from last April. He is a English teacher of Junior High School in Nagoya.  His parents had been stayed in Australia for 2 weeks, and after that came to Japan to meet their son. His father is very funny and his mother is very kind.  They stayed in Shirahama for 2 nights. It was sunny juring their staying, so I guess that they could have nice time in Shirahama.  We are looking forward to meeting you someday again. Thank you for staying.

2004/07/23 Beautiful ladies from Tokyo  They are from the United States and Canada, and live in Tokyo with Japanese husbands now.  They made a reservation by calling in the train on the way to Shimoda.  They arrived at Sakuraya in the evening and walked around Shirahama and went to Shirahama beach, Toji beach and some places in Southern Izu on next day by rent-a-car.  Could you see the beautiful sea and secret cave?  By the way one of them on the right side, are having baby. They are excepting their baby on September. Please be careful and have a good baby.  Thank you for staying. I hope to see you again with your baby and our's!

2004/07/20  They came from Paris in France and stayed for 2 nights in Sakuraya.  Her friend lives in Tokyo, so they stayed there juring this travel to Japan.  He is interested in Japan and Japanese. So we could speak sometimes in Japanese.  It had been sunny and hot while they had been staying in Shirahama. I guess they could have good time and swimming here.  Thank you for staying. 2004/07/07  They came from Taiwan. They found our Pension through the BBS of Taiwan National Universtiy too.  She has visited to Japane several times and this is a first time to visit to Japan for him.  They stayed for 2 nights and we could have good comunication in English, Japanese and writing Chinese charactor on the paper.  Thank you for your present from Taiwan. We, my daughters, my wife and I ate them, it was very delicous.  Thank you for staying. We are looking forward to meeting you someday again.
