Shimoda city decided to remove the prohibition of swimming due to Corona Virus at 4 beaches in Shimoda including Shirahama Ohama beach tomorrow.

2020/07/26 Blue Sky!!
They had heavy rain in Shizuoka city, Gotenba city, Numazu city in eastern part of Shizuoka prefecture, but we had blue sky a little today.
2020/07/23 Summer season has started!
The summer season in Shimoda city was started today. They were checking the health condition of the visitors getting into the beach at every entrance.
2020/07/22 Shirahama Beach Today
I went to the beach at around 1:00 PM to check the condition.
The sea water was not blue because the sky was covered with a lot of clouds today, actually the water is clear and beautiful though.
2020/07/21 Shirahama Beach Today
I walked to the beach this late after noon to check the condition of preparation for busy summer.
The busy season will be started the day after tomorrow.

They are our regular customers from Tokyo and have stayed many times before, and stayed for 2 nights again this summer.
On the 1st day it was rainy day, but they went to Shirahama beach when the rain stopped.
On the 2nd day it was a little sunny and they went to Kisami Ohama beach under the sun.
Thank you very much for staying with us.
We are looking forward to meeting you again next summer!!!

When I went to the beach before noon today they were setting up ropes to make social distance on the beach….
2020/07/10 Boat-Wrap Sashimi (Raw Fish)
Our guest who loves his wife very much ordered Boat-wrap sashimi, and they ate all of them quickly!!! They really love Sashimi!!
We order the local fish shop this sashimi raw fish for our guests. But actually we’ve never order it for us….
