There are a lot of plants around our house, called big quaking grass native to Europe.
They were imported to Japan as ornamental plant during Meiji era about more than 120 years ago.

It was sunny and very hot here in Shimoda today. I went to Shimoda city for shopping by bike this afternoon.

It was perfect weather for the beach and we were able to see the gorgeous water today. Please come to this place after the corona virus comes to an end.

I walked to Sotoura Beach this afternoon and was able to see the beautiful full moon called flower moon today.

All of the parking lot in and around Shimoda city are closed because of the Corona Virus. If you park on the road, that would be parking violation and you would be ticketed for illegal parking.
I understand they would like to the beach under the sun like today, but please come to Shimoda after the corona virus situation is over.

I went to Shimoda for shopping by bike this afternoon.
It was sunny and very warm here in Shimoda today, but there was no people walking on the street because of the corona virus.
