When I was walking on the seaside road this afternoon I found that they still had a lot of snow on the top of mountains, which they had 2 days ago.

2019/01/19 Snow on the Top of Izu Oshima Island
We had heavy snow at the mountains of Izu peninsula yesterday, and they also had a lot of snow on the top of Mt. Mihara in Izu Oshima island.

They had a lot of snow in the mountains of Izu peninsula, we had only wind and a little rain here in Shirahama though.
2019/01/16 Sakura Tree in our Field
Sakura tree which we raised from seed of Kawazu sakura has already started to bloom. And all of the other buds are ready to bloom now.
I walked on the seaside road as usual this afternoon.
It was chillier than yesterday because the sky was covered with clouds and we had very cold north wind.

2019/01/15 Shirahama Beach and Shimoda Bay
I’m posting the photos on this Facebook after 5 days because my family and I went to my wife’s hometown last weekend.
I walked on the seaside road to Shimoda bay this afternoon. It was very warm here in Shimoda, we had a little west wind though.
There was no surfers on the beach because they didn’t have good waves today.
2019/01/09 Ogasaki Wing
I walked to Ogasaki wing located between Shimoda city and Kawazu town. The beautiful scenery made me very happy to walk looking over the sea.
The sea water was crystal clear as usual.
Today I walked for 12,000 steps for 3 hours 40 minutes.
2019/01/08 Water Splash and Rainbows
We had heavy rain this morning but it became sunny after that.
When we have off-shore wind the waves show us the beautiful rainbows of the water splash.
After I took some photos of the waves I walked to Shimoda.
2019/01/06 Walking to Shimoda Harbour
As we finished busy new year holidays I took nordic walking to Shimoda harbour this afternoon after a long time. I was so tired to walk for about 10,000 steps.
2020/01/04 Shirahama Shrine
As my daughter who lives in Kanagawa prefecture went back her home today we went to the nearest shrine together as usual before check in time.
Our family makes a first visit of the new year to this Shirahama shrine every year. As it was the 4th day of this new year there were not so many people there.
