I walked on the seaside road this late afternoon but I was not able to take a good picture, so I posted the pictures which I took yesterday and forgot to post on Facebook.
As Kawazu sakura trees are now fully blooming in and around Shimoda city a lot of cars come to Izu peninsula from the other prefecture this weekend.
I went to the city of Shimoda for shopping this afternoon.
And took some pictures of Kawazu Sakura at many places in Shimoda.
Most of them are now fully blooming!
It was sunny and a little warmer than yesterday here in Shimoda today.
We didn’t have strong wind today and was a little warmer than yesterday.
I found out yellow flowers on the beach Sotoura.
And Kawazu Sakura trees near the beach are now fully blooming.
I took a walk on the seaside and the mountain road for about 10,000 steps this afternoon.
That’s why I’m a little tired….
Kawazu Sakura trees are now almost fully blooming in our field.
A lot of white-eye birds come to the tree for their breakfast and lunch.
I had been taking pictures of white-eye for about 2 hours in our field.
After that, I walked around on seaside and mountain road for 2 and half hours.
I walked on the seaside road and went to Mt. Nesugata with the north-east wind.
Now we are able to see the joint performance of white and pink by the narcissus flowers and the sakura blossoms.
Though we had very strong west wind again here in Shirahama today, it was much warmer than yesterday.
There are some kinds of Sakura in the field of Pension Sakuraya. The first one is raised from the seed of Kawazu sakura. The petals of this tree has different color from the original one.
The Kawazu Sakura trees in our field are now blooming 30 or 40%.
It was a little warmer than usual yesterday, but the cold of winter came back again today.
Kawazu sakura tree next to the entrance of Pension Sakuraya was almost fully blooming at the same time of the last year, but it’s blooming slower than usual this season because it has been very cold here in Japan.
When I was walking on the seaside road this late afternoon I saw there had been some life savers training on the beach.
When I walked to Sotoura beach between Shirahama and Shimoda as usual this late afternoon the sun was just setting over the mountain.
They had a good condition with the offshore wind and the wave again today.
Kawazu Sakura trees in our field had already started blooming, but it’s slower than I expected last month.
Actually I wanted to take pictures of Sakura blossoms under the sun, but it was cloudy today.
