I woke up at around 5:00 this morning and took a picture from the 2nd floor of our house, and was able to see the beautiful art of clouds this late afternoon.
I was able to see the art of sun and clouds in the sky today.
The blue sky came back this afternoon!
In these days we have had rain here in Shirahama. It can’t be helped because of rainy season, but I hope it would be finished as soon as possible.
This morning we were able to see the beautiful morning glow at around 4:30 here in Shirahama.
When I woke up this early morning the beautiful morning glow came into my sight. So I went to the middle of a slope to the beach to take photos.
I walked on the seaside road this late afternoon after several days.
It was sunny at around noon, but after that it became cloudy and rainy here in Shirahama today. There were some people swimming in the water, but it is very dangerous when we have such big waves.
I took these photos in our field today.
Yesterday Ajisai Matsuri (Hydrangea Festival) started in Shimoda. There are a lot of hydrangea trees with more than 3 million blossoms. Now it’s about 30% blooming and they say the best timing to see is the middle of June…
By the way, these photos were taken a long time ago.

I woke up at around 4:30 this morning because I went to the bed before midnight yesterday.
That’s why I was able to see the beautiful scenery this early morning.
It was sunny but was not so hot today because we had a little cold north wind.
The rain started yesterday and a warning was given for the heavy rainfall in Shimoda this morning.
That’s why the Izukyuko line was stopped and the schools in Shimoda were closed today.
After the rain stopped I took a walk this late afternoon.
They had big waves and a lot of people were trying to surf.
It was a little sunny this early morning, but it became cloudy and rainy in Izu peninsula after that. We have a loquat tree in our field and it will be the best timing to eat in 3 or 4 days.
My wife and I drove to Gotenba city over Amagi pass because she will have to drive herself next weekend, but she is not good at driving actually.
So we had to check the route how to get there.
I was looking forward to seeing Mt. Fuji, but I was not able to see it because of clods and rain…..
