It was rainy here in Shirahama today and the Kawazu sakura tree in our field was blooming in the rain.

It was sunny but there were a lot of clouds in the sky here in Shimoda today.
I walked to Sotoura beach from Shirahama beach through Mt.Nesugata for 2 and half hours.
When I went out to go to the Seven Eleven nearby, I found out the red moon on the horizon. So I went to the beach to take photos of the beautiful moon.
As I had to go to Shimoda this early morning I went to the beach to take photos of sunrise after that…
In this season the sunrise time is around 7:45AM. I wanted to take photos of the morning sun which rises above the norizon, but there were a lot of clouds…..
However I was able to take photos of God Ray. (We, Japanese call this Angel’s ladder.)
As my wife went to Chigasaki city in Kanagawa prefecture to participate the new year party of the ballet school and company which she belonged to when she was young I took her to the train station this early morning. And I went to the beach to take photos of the sunrise after that.
I wasn’t able to see the sunrise above the horizon, but it was so beautiful!
As my son had practice games of basketball yesterday we crossed the Amagi pass and went to Kannami town. It had been cloudy before noon, but we were able to see Mt.Fuji after that.
And today it was sunny but we had very strong and cold north wind here in Shirahama.
It was sunny and very warm here in Shirahama today. So I walked on the nearest beach Shirahama this afternoon.
A lot of clouds were floating in the sky and I was able to take some good photos.
I walked to the point where we can see Sotoura beach this afternoon as usual.
Sotoura Beach located between Shirahama beach and the town of Shimoda is very popular with families with children because they don’t have big waves.
And Mihogasaki cape which is between Shirahama beach and Sotoura beach has great view of Izu seven islands and Amagi mountains.
We had very strong west wind here in Shirahama today. I haven’t noticed before, but I found out the wind draws “Flower” on the surface of the water. It was really amazing!!
I walked on the seaside road this afternoon as usual.
When I started walking I saw the clouds above Izu Oshima island, so I went to the top of the hill behind Sakuraya to take photos.
By the way when I was cooking for my family at around 4:30 PM I saw the beautiful sunset on the western mountain. So I took this photo from the 2nd floor of Sakuraya.
