2017/07/05 Sunrise Glow
The typhoon passed nearby last night, but we didn’t have neither strong wind nor heavy rain, and had no damage by this.
When I woke up at 5:30 AM I was able to see the sunrise glow in the morning sky.
2017/06/29 Shirahama Beach Today
I walked on the seaside road this afternoon after several days.
It had been cloudy all day long today, but we had a little shower at around 15:00.
When I went to Shimoda for shopping the sky was very beautiful, so I took some pictures from the bay.
2017/06/22 Rainbow in the twilight time
When I was driving to Shimoda at around 19:00 I saw the rainbow in the sky.
But it was disappeared 2 minutes later….

Today we had heavy rain and strong wind here in Shimoda.
2017/06/17 Hydrangea (Ajisai) Festival in Shimoda
I went to Shimoda park on a date with my wife and daughter this afternoon.
Shimoda park is very famous for the hydrangea blossoms, and the festival is taking place from June 1st to 30th.
When we went there the hydrangea is now fully and beautifully blooming.

2017/06/08 Rainy Day
It was rainy all day long today.
Japan Weather Association announced that Tokai area including Shimoda city had got into the rainy season yesterday.
I took this picture at 6:50 PM.
Of course there was nobody on the beach in the rain …..
2017/05/02 Ogasaki Wing View Point
We had very strong south wind yesterday, but it was not windy today.
This is one of good view points on Izu peninsula, which is located between Shimoda city and Kawazu town.
If you come to Shimoda by car, you should take a break at this view point on Rout 135 of eastern side of Izu peninsula.
If it was sunny and the air was clear, you would be able to get the beautiful view of Izu seven islands and Shirahama beach.
2017/04/28 Blue Sea and Fresh Green Leaves
I took a Nordic walking to Sotoura beach as usual.
It was sunny and very hot like almost summer today.
I was happy to walk looking over the blue sea and the fresh green leaves.
