When I saw outside this morning I found out white snow on the top of Izu Oshima Island!
I thin It was the 1st time that they had snow there.
I took a Nordic walking looking over the snow and the ocean to Shimoda city this afternoon.
Sakura trees are now fully blossoming.
The color of the trees are changed by the condition of the sky, especially at the twilight time.
These are the pictures that I took in Kawazu town this morning.
The original cherry tree of Kawazu-Zakura is now blossoming about 30 %.
It was discovered in the 1950’s by one of the local people on the river side in Kawazu town, and now there are over 8,000 trees in this town.
This kind of Sakura is very famous for blossoming between early February and early March, because the other kind of Sakura usually blossom in around April in Japan.
I went to Ito city with my family today.
I was able to see the beautiful sunset on the way home.
We didn’t have wind after several days and it was very warm here in Shirahama today.
After I took my daughter to school by my car I went to the mountain side in Shimoda this morning, and noticed that it was -4 degrees centigrade.
The temperature difference between Shirahama and this place is over 7 degrees, the distance is only 5 or 6 kilometers though.
During winter we can see the blue and clear water because the water temperature is low, about 15 degrees centigrade.
That’s why I want to snorkel in the water, but there is no tropical fishes in this season.
This morning the sun was shining on the eastern side.
It was sunny today, but we had very strong and cold west wind.
We had a big storm with rain and strong wind like typhoon last night.
This morning I wanted to take pictures of rough sea on the seaside road after I took my daughter to the school, but the strong wind from the rough sea prevented me from getting out of my car.
I walked on the seaside road this afternoon.
The seaside road was covered with a lot of sand blown away by the strong wind, but it was very good condition for surfers under the sun light after the storm.
After I took my daughter to the school by car I took a picture at Shimoda harbor this morning.
It was cloudy in Shimoda yesterday, but the blue sky came back again.
I was able to see the Izu seven islands clearly today.
