Is typhoon coming?
We had heavy rain in
Shimoda this early morning, but it's sunny now!
All of our customers for
tonight cancelled because of typhoon.
We may have a storm tonight and
tomorrow morning.
Be careful, everybody!!!
I don't know why, but I got up earlier than
usual, at 5:15 this morning.
I found out the red sun was just rising, so
I took this picture.

My daughter has now a small trouble on her
knee by bike accident several days ago.
Of course she can walk as usual,
but it is a little hard for her to ride a bike.
So I took her to the
school by my car again this morning.
I took this picture on the way home and I was able to see the Oshima island clearly, but it's still very cold today.
Why not?
I have been thinking about the weather, it was changed before noon.
The blue sky goes well with Shirahama beach.
My daughter usually goes to high school by bicycle,
but I took her by my car to the school this morning.
Because it wiil be
rain this afternoon.

This white ship is belongs to Japan Coast Guard, and there are some ships usually stay in Shimoda harbor.
It was a last day of Spring
holiday of school. So I went to Shimoda for cycling with my son this
afternoon.
We parked our car at Shimoda harbor park and went to Shimoda
aquarium.
After that we went through the Shimoda town and took a free
foot spa, and we played at the pinwheel festival.
He was very excited
today.
Today I went to the beach to
snorkel for the 1st time this year.
The water was still a little cold, but there was no prpblem for me. Because I put on a wetsuit when I got into the water.
I couldn't find out the tropical
fishes, but there were some Japanese cormorants on the rock and small
fishes in the water.
The warm water of sea current 'Oyashio' is
getting closer to Japan in these days.
That's why the water temperature
is very warm and is warmer the air temperature.
When it rains we usually take children by car to the school.
We had rain before 6:00 AM, but it became sunny after 6:30.
I took this picture after taking my daughter to the shool.
The sun was shining above the ocean and it was very warm after that.
This is a small fisherman's port called Itami
in Shirahama.
There are some small boats and the fishermen use them to
fish and to get Iseebi (Japanese spiny lobster) in this season.
And
there is a small beach as well.
We can swim there in summer.
