Shirahama shrine festival is taking place until tomorrow.
I went to the shrine to participate this festival and sung two songs on the stage.

2018/10/28 Shirahama Beach Today
I took these photos before going to Shimoda this early afternoon.
It was sunny here in Shirahama today.
As we had west wind the sky was very clear!

They came from Canada.
It was the 3rd time for them to come to Japan, but they came to Izu peninsula for the 1st time and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 3 nights.
During their stay they went to the nearest beach, walked on Suzaki walking trail and around Shimoda town.
After they checked out they went to Toi on the western side of Izu peninsula.
Thank you very much for staying with us.
2018/10/24 Twilight in Shirahama
After I went to fish shop in Shirahama this late afternoon I took some photos of the clouds in the sky on the beach and at the top of the hill.
In this season we sometimes are able to see beautiful senset in Izu peninsula.
2018/10/23 Moon and Sea at Twilight
When I went shopping this late afternoon I saw the beautiful moon over the sea.
So I went to the beach behind Shirahama shrine to take photos.
It was really beautiful scenery, but it was too hard to hold my camera on the rock because of strong wind.
2018/10/23 Strong North Wind in Shirahama
Today we had very strong north wind again.
I went to the beach to take phtos this afternoon.
The sand on the beach is blown away by this strong wind.
That’s why the local community set up the fences to protect the sand.
By the way I finished to clean the 3rd room yesterday, so I started to clean the last bedroom finally today.

It was sunny here in Shirahama today.
I walked to the nearest bus stop to take photos before check in time this afternoon.

I went to Shimoda city by bike again this afternoon.
It was sunny and there was no clouds in the sky here in Shirahama today.
As we had very strong north wind there were some windsurfers on the beach.
We had very strong north wind in Shirahama, but there was no wind in Shimoda city.

It was sunny here in Shimoda today.
I went to Shimoda bay by bicycle after a long time.
I bought my bike after I graduated university.
So it is now more than 30 years old, but it still works very well!
