It was sunny again here in Shirahama today, but we had a little colder north wind than yesterday.
I took a Nordic walk to the shrine in Sotoura beach again this afternoon.

2018/01/16 Kawazu Sakura Blossom
It was sunny and very warm here in Shirahama today.
I walked to Sotoura beach as usual after 4 days.
The Kawazu cherry trees in our field had already started to bloom several days ago.
It’s much earlier than usual.

I took these pictures on the way home from Shimoda city.
Driving looking over the beautiful sea makes me very happy as usual!
2017/06/17 Hydrangea (Ajisai) Festival in Shimoda
I went to Shimoda park on a date with my wife and daughter this afternoon.
Shimoda park is very famous for the hydrangea blossoms, and the festival is taking place from June 1st to 30th.
When we went there the hydrangea is now fully and beautifully blooming.

There are some kinds of hydrangea in our field, and this is one of the ancestors of hydrangea in Japan.
After shopping in Shimoda city I took a picture of the beach on the way home.

When I went to the post office in Shirahama I went to the beach to take pictures.
It was sunny and very hot like summer today.
I found out the flowers called scurvy grass on the beach.

Yesterday we had very cold wind, but it was sunny and very warm today.
The beach and the water were very beautiful under the sun.
A lot of cherry trees on the river side are now fully blooming.

I went to Shimoda city to see peach trees and sakura trees when I went for shopping in the rain this afternoon.
A lot of flowers and blossoms are now blooming in Shimoda city.
It was very cold today, but the weather forecast says it would be getting warmer after tomorrow.
2017/04/07 Rain all day long
It has been raining all day long since this morning.
My son went to the school by local bus for the first time today, but it was really fun for him with his primary school friends, he said so.
There are a lot of natural Sakura trees in the mountain on the other side of Pension Sakuraya and they are almost fully blooming now.
