I had to clean up the pension building and the field around all day long yesterday because of typhoon.
And I was able to go to the beach for the 1st time this afternoon after the typhoon passed.
The typhoon #12 left huge amount of trash, driftwood and seaweeds with the beach.
When I finished serving dinner I saw the purple sky over the west side mountain through the window of our kitchen.
So I went out and took this picture.
It was sunny this early morning but the sky was covered with some clouds after that.
When I woke up at 4:30 this morning I saw a beautiful sky from my room.
So I went to the 2nd floor to take a picture.
I saw such a gorgeous sky after a long time.
And I went to the beach to take pictures at 2:30 PM.
It was sunny but the western sky was covered with clouds all day long.
The weather here in Shirahama was really strange today.
It was sunny and we were able to see the blue sky this early morning, but we had strong shower at around 11:00 and it became cloudy after that.
And we had blue sky over the sea this late afternoon after all.
When I woke up this morning the sun was just rising up.
So I took these pictures on the second floor.
At that time the airplane was making vapor trail….
Today it was sunny before noon but the sky sometimes was covered with clouds this afternoon here in Shimoda.
The weather forecast says it would be rainy tomorrow….
When I left my home to walk this afternoon a helicopter ambulance was flying around on the nearest beach.
And when I got to the seaside road the rescue team had already arrived and started to search.
A young woman was swept by the sea waves, but she was saved by the rescue team…
As there is no life guard on the beach before busy season in summer we should be careful ourselves to get into the water……
We had a little cold north wind today but it was very hot here in Shimoda.
I took a Nordic walking to Sotoura beach after a long time.
When I came back to the nearest beach and was taking pictures I found out a small spider on the fence of the seaside road.
He seemed to have a mask of strange guy on his back! Haaaaa…..
After I took the picture of the spider he flied away with his silk.
It was my first time to see the moment of spider’s flying.
When I was cleaning guest rooms this afternoon I was able to see the blue water and Izu Oshima island through the window.
So I walked to the beach to take pictures.
After the typhoon past the blue sky and the beautiful sea came back here in Shirahama.
There were a lot of surfers on the beach because of good waves.
I was very happy to take pictures of the beautiful water and the clouds on the island and the mountains.
I love this beach after all.
When I went to the beach to take pictures this afternoon there was nobody else except windsurfer.
The typhoon past near Japan today, but we didn’t have heavy rain and had only strong wind here in Shimoda.
And the blue sky appeared this late afternoon at last.
I took these pictures of the beach at 13:00 before going to Shimoda today.
It was sunny and very hot but not humid here in Shimoda today.
It means it was the perfect condition for the beach!
In addition, I took the last picture from the balcony of Sakuraya this late afternoon. The clouds and the sky was beautiful!!
