I went to the city of Shimoda for shopping this afternoon.
And took some pictures of Kawazu Sakura at many places in Shimoda.
Most of them are now fully blooming!
It was sunny and a little warmer than yesterday here in Shimoda today.
Kawazu Sakura trees are now almost fully blooming in our field.
A lot of white-eye birds come to the tree for their breakfast and lunch.
I had been taking pictures of white-eye for about 2 hours in our field.
After that, I walked around on seaside and mountain road for 2 and half hours.
It was sunny but we had cold west wind again here in Shimoda today.
I took a Nordic walk on seaside road and mountain road to Mt. Nesugata.
I usually take 6,000 or 7,000 steps by walking, but today I took 12,000 steps for 8km.
I may have muscle pain tomorrow or the day after tomorrow…..
I walked to the top of the hill under the beautiful sky, where we can see Shimoda harbor this afternoon.
Today we had very strong west wind again today, but I was very happy to walk looking over the beautiful sea.
When I walked to Sotoura beach between Shirahama and Shimoda as usual this late afternoon the sun was just setting over the mountain.
They had a good condition with the offshore wind and the wave again today.
Though it was very cold by the north wind, I walked on the seaside road this afternoon as usual.
They had a lot of snow on the top of mountains in Izu peninsula last night.
When I was walking on the seaside road this early evening I was able to see the moon above Izu Oshima island, but it was not clear by clouds.
So I didn’t expect to see the total eclipse of the moon tonight.
But when I went out to check the condition of the sky at around 9:00 PM the sky was really clear.
After that, my wife, my son and I was able to see the super blue blood moon tonight!
I walked on the seaside road this afternoon as usual.
We had very cold west wind but it was sunny today.
They still have a lot of snow on the top of Amagi mountains and Izu Oshima island.
When I saw the sky through the window of my room this late afternoon there was a big cloud in the eastern sky.
So I immediately went to the beach to take pictures.
I climbed up the hill behind Pension Sakuraya and went to the nearest beach Shirahama to take pictures of the clouds and the sea just before sunset today.
You can see the change of color of clouds in only 20 minutes.
It was very cold again here in Shirahama today.
They still have a lot of snow on the top of Amagi mountains and Izu Oshima island.
I climbed the hill behind Pension Sakuraya to take pictures and walked on the seaside road after that.
