We had west wind today, but it was sunny and very warm again.
When we have west wind and waves this is the good condition to see the art of rainbow by sea spray.

2016/11/03 Blue Sea and Starry Sky
When I came back from Shimoda city this evening I found out the gorgeous starry heavens.
So I took a lot of pictures on the terrace of Pension Sakuraya.
By the way we had west wind today, but it was sunny and very warm here in Shirahama.
There were a lot of surfers because of the national holiday today.
The water was very beautiful under the clear sky.

I took this picture at 7:00 AM.
I was able to see the sky with no clouds after a long time.
I’m very happy to see the gorgeous beach under such a beautiful sky.
2016/10/10 Strong Wind in Shirahama
We had very strong north wind today as the weather forecast said.
When we have strong wind a lot of wind surfers come to Shirahama because it becomes a very good point for them.
2016/10/07 Sun Light from the Sky
After I took my son to the school I went to the top of mountain behind Pension Sakuraya to take pictures.
There were a lot of clouds in the sky and the sun light came down through the clouds.
It was really beautiful scenery this morning.
2016/09/22 North-East Wind again
I walked on the seaside road after a long time.
We were able to see the blue sky before noon, but it became cloudy after that.
As the weather forecast said we had a little strong north-east wind, so there were some windsurfers on the beach.
2016/09/21 Shirahama Beach this morning
I took some pictures after I took my son to the school this morning.
We had a little heavy rain and strong wind last night, but the blue sky came back this morning.
But as we had north-east wind it was cooler than usual.

After I took my son to the school I went to the beach to take pictures.
I took these ones on Shirahama Beach behind Shirahama shrine.
When we have sun on the horizon we are able to take good pictures with the Torii gate.
We don’t have any customers tonight, so we are making ourselves relaxed after a long time….
2016/06/28 Snorkeling and Open-Air Bath at Akai-Hama Beach in Matsuzaki town
I went to Kumomi district in Matsuzaki town on the western side of Izu peninsula with my son on last Sunday.
I think it was the last chance to go to the beach for snorkeling with him before busy summer.
We enjoyed the open-air hot spring by the sea, but it was not good condition for snorkeling because of big waves and not clear water.
2016/06/15 Shirahama Beach this morning
I took this picture on the beach behind Shirahama shrine this morning.
We were able to see the Izu Oshima Island floating on the horizon over the Torii (shrine’s gate).
It seems to be very close from Shimoda, but do you know that Tokyo Metropolis owns the island actually?
