It had been rainy all day long today, and it’s a little cold now at 10:30 PM.
The weather forecast says it will be sunny this weekend and we will have rainy days next week…
My son had to go to the train station this early morning because of practice match of junior high school basket ball teams.
I took some pictures of sun and beach after I took him to the station.
It was sunny and very hot here in Shirahama today.
Some of our guests left their bags at Sakuraya and went to the beach after check out.
I walked on the seaside road this afternoon after several days.
It was cloudy and cold this morning, but it became sunny and very hot after noon.
The local community in Shirahama will have a removal work of fences on the nearest beach Shirahama this weekend.
So they were removing sands around the fences to prepare for the work.
Today it was sunny but very cold by the strong north-east wind.
When we have such wind the nearest sea has good condition for windsurfing!
By the way it was the last day of Black Ship Festival today.
When I went to Izukyu-Shimoda station some people were welcoming visitors with the clothes of Edo period.
I walked on the beach and the seaside road as usual this afternoon.
We had rain last night, but the blue sky came back and it was gorgeous today!
There were some people swimming in the water..
Last night we had very strong wind and heavy rain here in Shimoda.
But the blue and clear sky came back today!
I took pictures of the beach twice at 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM today.
So you can compare the beach condition at low tide and high tide.
It was really hot like almost summer today, but the air temperature will be much higher tomorrow than today.
As we had parents’ observation day of my son’s junior high school today I came back home by walking.
I walked on the seaside road after a long time because of busy Golden Week.
We had a little cold wind but it was sunny and hotter than yesterday.
In this season we can see the yellow flowers near the beach.
I took my son to the station because he and his basketball team mates had practice matches in Inatori.
After that I took a picture of sun on the nearest beach this early morning.
And after all of our guests checked out this morning I found out a mobile phone in a guest room.
So I went to the nearest Seven-Eleven to give it back our guests and took pictures of the beach after that.
It was beautiful day, but really really cold because of strong west wind.
I’ve never experienced such a cold day during Golden Week in these 10 years or more!
2 days ago, when I was walking down the hill from Sakuraya as usual I heard a sound that something hit against wall or window behind me.
I was surprised and saw it, and knew that it was a sparrow!
He was not able to fly soon, but he went somewhere after that…
I walked to Sotoura beach this afternoon as usual.
In summer this beach is very popular with families with small children, because this beach is in the shape of creek and they don’t have big waves.
By the way, when I walked on the seaside road they had the lowest tide of the sea.
In such a condition the beach is much wider than usual!
