Yesterday we had very cold wind, but it was sunny and very warm today.
The beach and the water were very beautiful under the sun.
A lot of cherry trees on the river side are now fully blooming.
It has been raining all day long since this morning.
My son went to the school by local bus for the first time today, but it was really fun for him with his primary school friends, he said so.
There are a lot of natural Sakura trees in the mountain on the other side of Pension Sakuraya and they are almost fully blooming now.
We had very strong north cold wind today. They had a lot of snow on the top of mountains of west side of Izu peninsula.
I walked on the seaside road this afternoon, but it was really hard to walk in the strong cold wind today.
However, it was good condition for windsurfing actually.
That’s why there were some windsurfers today.
I walked on the seaside road this morning after several days.
We had a little cold west wind today, but the blue sea water was shining under the clear sky.
When I was walking taking pictures I found out that the fisherman had been fishing sea cucumber.
We are able to see sea cucumber at the super market in winter.
I think most of the residents in and around Shimoda city love to eat sea cucumber.
Of course I have ever eaten it, but it is enough for me to eat just only once.

It had been sunny and not so cold today. I took some pictures behind Shirahama shrine this morning.
I got some good shots for the next year postcard for our customers today again.
When I took my son to school by car this morning as usual, the beautiful scenery got into our sights!
My son and I were excited with it and said, “Wao! It’s amazing!”

It was very warm again here in Shirahama today.
I found out the thistle flowers blooming by the seaside road when I was walking this morning.
And after that, I saw some white eyes flying to get breakfast on the tree.
Today the marathon race of Shirahama primary school was held, and after that, I found out a young wild boar on the way to the school.
Wild boar is basically nocturnal, so we don’t see them under the sun.
They had a lot of snow in Tokyo yesterday, but we don’t have any snow here in Shirahama even in winter.
However, they have a lot of snow in Amagi mountains on Izu peninsula and on the top of Izu Oshima island in every winter.
Yesterday they had a lot!
It was a little colder than yesterday here in Shimoda today.
