They are a family came from England.
They have a family who live in Tokyo, so grandpa and grandma have come to Japan to meet their grandchildren 4 times before.
During their stay they went to the beach under the blue sky on the 1st day, and went to Minami Izu town to see cherry blossoms and Irozaki cape on the 2nd day.
The small children were very cute and they all are very beautiful family.
We are looking forward to meeting you someday again.

We had south-west wind here in Shirahama today, and it was warmer then yesterday.
Sakura trees in our field are now blooming about 30% now!
It’s much earlier to bloom this year than usual.
They are from India and live in Tokyo.
They came to Izu peinsula for the 1st time.
They took train to Shimizu station in Shizuoka Prefecutre and took ferry from Shimizu port to Toi port on the western side of Izu peninsula, and were able to see Mt. Fuji clearly on the way.
After they checked out they went to Kawazu Seven Waterfalls.

I finally finished cleaning the dining room of Pension Sakuraya.
It took about 5 days to clean everything and every parts of this room but I’m very happy to see the floor which has a good shine.
It is really hard to do it by only myself.
I’m so tired…..
The festival of Shirahama shrine which has a rich history of more than 2,400 years was held for 3 days from October 28th.
And it was the last time for my son to participate as a member of Kodomo Mikoshi (portable shrine carried by children).
My son and his friends participated the stage performance and showed us dancing on October 30th.

They are from France and just moved to Japan 2 months ago, and stayed with us for the 1st time.
But they have come to Izu peninsula a lot of times before, because they have lived in Japan for several years since 15 years ago.
They went to Rotemburo (outdoor hot spring bath) near Kawazu Seven Waterfalls, swam in Shirahama and checked in our Pension.

It was sunny all day long.
I took this picture after I took my son to the school as usual.
I started cleaning the bed rooms at the beginning of this month, and I finished all the rooms today after all.
It takes a long time to clean a room because I have to put all thing out of the room, and I clean the floor, wax it and clean the windows and everything in the room.
But I’m very happy to see the beautiful rooms after cleaning.
They are a couple from the Netherlands and came to Japan for the first time, and stayed at Pension Sakuraya for 3 nights.
Before coming to Shimoda they went to Yakushima island, Mt. Kirishima in Gagoshima Pref, HIroshima, and Wakayama.
During their stay in Shimoda we sometimes had strong north wind, but they went to Shimoda city and spent all day on the beach.

During their stay in Shimoda unfortunately it had been windy and cloudy on the 1st and 2nd day, but they went to Shimoda city in the strong north wind.
However it became sunny on the 3rd day so they were able to go to the beach to swim under the blue sky.

She was a member of our chorus group in Shimoda city and had performances together before the nuclear power plant accident in Fukushima.
For this time she recommended them to come to Shimoda city and to stay at Pension Sakuraya.
