Sunrise and Izu seven islands in the late afternoon

090115sunrise01_3Today, the time of sunrise was 6:54 am.

I started to go to the shool with my daughter and the children at 7:00 am as usual and I walked down the hill.

I found that the sun was shining in the cloud and took this photo.

This morning I could see the sun with cloud and it was gorgeous scenery.

Wao, leaves are frozen!? – – Shirahama, Shimoda

090114leaves01_2It was very cold today too like yesterday.

I walked with the children who go to Shirahama elementary school as usual this morning.

When we were walking on the national road one of the children found and cried,

"Look at this! The leaf is frozen!!"

Actually the water is frozen on leaves because of the low temprature.

Sotoura Beach 2009/01/12

090112sotoura01_2After I finished to prepare some things for today’s guests I went out for biking in this afternoon.

It was rainy this morning but it was changed at around 11:00 am and it became sunny after that.

I took this photo at 3:30 pm but the water was still blue and beautiful, and I could see Toshima island, one of Izu seven islands, over the ocean.
.
According weather forcast it will be sunny tomorrow and the day after tomorrow.

Are the cherry blossoms still blooming over here? – – Mt. Amagi

080420ogasaki01_2Last Sunday we went to Mishima for shopping all together.

I think the last time which I went to Mishima with my family was 2 years ago.

This is a picture over looking Shirahama, which I took at Ogasaki Wing, the entrance of Shimoda city.

It was sunny and gorgeous day, but we had strong wind. So we could see the white waves over there.

We started to go again to get to Mishima city……

A Small Port “Itado” in Shirahama

080227itado01_2Last night we had a strong wind and heavy rain here in Shirahama. Yes, it seemed like typhoon.

But today it was very beautiful day, so I went to the small port to see the ships with my son, Yuuki.

It takes about 40 minutes by walking from Sakuraya.
There were many kinds of small and big ships.

Yuuki said,

"I want to get on that ship, dad!"

I understand him but there was nobody and we couldn’t get on without permission. ……
