2011/07/09 Summer has come to Shirahama, Shimoda!

110709beach01 Yesterday the rainy season was over here in Tokai area in Japan, and today it was over in Kanto area too.

I was wondering that the rainy season had been over yesterday, because it was almost cloudy here in Shimoda.

But summer has come to Shimoda at last.

When I was cleaning the guest rooms I could see the blue sea through the window.

So I decided to go to the beach to take pictures.

I took this on the way to the nearest beach "Shirahama" from Sakuraya.

Look at that gorgeous color of the sea!

It's amazing color, isn't it? ….

2011/07/08 #2 The rainy season has already been over!

110708beach02 Whe I was checking the weather forecast this evening it said that the rainy season had been over in Chugoku, Shikoku, Kinki and Tokai region in Japan today.

Oh, really?

Because it had been almost cloudy here in Shimoda today.

But actually the weather in Osaka was very good today according to the website of weather forecast.

Anyway it is a very good news for us.

Everybody, let's get into the real summer!!!

2011/07/08 Radioactive Level in Shizuoka Pref.

110708newspaper01 Hello, how have you been?

Since the beginning of this month we have been very busy, so I couldn't posted the articles.

By the way Shizuoka Prefecture announced the result of the radioactive level of the sea water and the sand on the beaches in Shizuoka Pref. on paper today.

It reported that there was no radioactivity in the water and there was minuscule amount of it in the sand.

And it said there is no problem to swim and play on the beach.

It  was very good new for us and made us very happy, and we can welcome the customers during this summer.

2011/07/01 We got into July! Summer season!

110701sign02 Today we had a sunshine in the morning, but it became cloudy after that.

But the temperature was not of high, so it was a little comfortable.

This afternoon I went to the sing board on the corner of Road #135 to mow the grasses.

After an hour the sign board appeared, and our customers will be able to find it out easily.

After that I went to the beach……
