It was sunny again in Shimoda today.
When I went to the downtown for shopping I took some photos of Shirahama Beach and Sotoura Beach.
This is Sotoura, 5 minutes driving away from Pension Sakuraya.
They usually don't have big waves, so this beach is popular with families that have small child.

There were a lot of clouds in the sky, but it was beautiful day today.
After I finished cleaning the rooms I went to the beach to take pictures.
There were a lot of people on the beach and surfers in the water.
By the way, do you know camping and barbeque are prohibited in Shimoda?
Please take care of this to keep the beautiful beach.
They came from Australia and stayed at Sakuraya for 2 nights.
We are very sorry, but it had been almost cloudy during their stay.
But they went to the beach for swimming and exploring and Shimoda downtown for dinner.
And they saw the Fireworks Festival on the beach on the 2nd day.
We look forward to meeting you somdeday again.

I had worried about the weather, but the Fireworks Fesival was held from 8:00 PM on schedule.
There were a lot of people on the beach and the road along the beach.
After the last big firework display the audience applauded loudly.

Pension Sakuraya in Shimoda, Japan
I went to the nearest beach "Shirahama" this early morning.
We had a mission of beach cleaning from 6:00 this morning.
And I went to the beach with my son again to take pictures.
It was beautiful day and very hot in Shimoda today.

They visited Japan from Germany for the 1st time and came to Shimoda after Tokyo.
During their stay they went to the beach and Shimoda downtown.
They went to Kyoto and Osaka after Shimoda.

On the 1st day they went to the beach for swimming and to the downtown to have dinner at the Indian restaurante.
After checked out they went to Jogasaki suspension bridge in Ito city.

When I went to Seven Eleven nearby I wen to the beach.
It was sunny and very hot in Shimoda today, but there were not so many people on the beach.
Under the sunshine the blue sea always invite me to get into the water, but I could not do it today because of my job.
They are from India and have lived in Tokyo for several years.
They came to Shirahama and stayed at Sakuraya for the 1st time.
They went to the nearest beach "Shirahama" on the 1st day and went to Yumigahama Beach in Minami Izu town on the 2nd day.
We are very sorry, but it had been not sunny on these 2 days.
Please come to Shimoda with the sun again.
