They came to Japan from Germany for the 1st time.
Before coming to Shimoda they went to Kyoto, Kamikochi, Nakatugawa and Matsumoto for 2 weeks.
They love walking and hiking, so they went to Tsumekizaki cape by walking and took Suzaki walking trail to Ebisujima island on the 2nd day.
On the 3rd day they walked in Shimoda city and went to Shimoda aquarium.
We had great time and good communications with you!

They are from China and live in Tokyo.
They met each other at the Japanese school, but they go to different universities now.
They speak Japanese very well, they have lived in Japan for only several months though.
They were lucky to have sunny days during their stay.

I took my son to the station because he and his basketball team mates had practice matches in Inatori.
After that I took a picture of sun on the nearest beach this early morning.
And after all of our guests checked out this morning I found out a mobile phone in a guest room.
So I went to the nearest Seven-Eleven to give it back our guests and took pictures of the beach after that.
It was beautiful day, but really really cold because of strong west wind.
I’ve never experienced such a cold day during Golden Week in these 10 years or more!

We had very strong wind and heavy rain last night, but we sometimes had sun light through the clouds this afternoon.
They had a little good waves after the low pressure system passed.
They came to Japan for the 2nd time.
They are traveling for 3 weeks and went to Kanazawa, Takayama, Miyajima, Nagasaki, Kagoshima, Yakushima island and some other places.
And they came to Shimoda from Kotohira in Kagawa prefecture and stayed with us for 3 nights.
It had been almost sunny and went to the beach every day.

P.S When I went to the station to pick my daughter up I took them by my car.

On 2nd day they went to the nearest beach Shirahama and went to the Japanese restaurant in Shimoda to eat Kinmedai!

The air was not clear and we were not able to see Izu islands on the pacific ocean,
But it was sunny and very hot here in Shirahama today.
When I was walking I saw a lot of junior high school students.
I’m wondering but they came from Tokyo for the school trip.
